You're Invited to our Open House! Join us for our annual kennel Open House on August 20-21, 2011 located right on the Fly-n-Gun Kennel grounds.
Our Open House is a fun gathering for all our training and tournament friends. This gathering is more than just a chance for you and your dog(s) to get competitive together; it is also a social gathering. Feel free to come out just for a visit and enjoy the camaraderie.
This year's doings will offer three fun events, as well as an over-the-top, good old hog roast cooked by Mr. Mark Kerstner.
Overnight accommodations are also listed below.
Open House Event Itinerary
SATURDAY, AUGUST 21
7:30 AM start…Birds, Bumpers, and Clays Event
We are calling all two hunter, two bird dog teams to compete in the triathlon of the upland world: Birds, Bumpers, and Clays. There are three phases of this event. One…complete a BDC/UFTA two hunter, two dog doubles run for chukar. Two…dogs complete a timed retrieval sequence. Three…hunters complete a sporting clay sequence. Scores from all three will be compiled for each team (sample score card: flusher | pointer).
Team Event Pricing: $125.00 per entry (BDC or UFTA sanctioning optional, $15.00)

10:00 AM start…Duck Dog Challenge
Do you enjoy shooting sporting clays and your dog retrieving? Combine the two in a Duck Dog Challenge. We will be providing two series of four targets/ducks per entry. To learn more about the game, visit NationalDuckDogChallenge.com and/or view the YouTube video.

Suppertime…Hog Roast and Social
You and your family are invited to attend. We will be hosting a hog roast with the fixings, followed by music and campfire.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 22
7:30 AM start…Chukar Challenge
Get it done, just you and your dog. Hit the field with a BDC/UFTA one hunter, one dog singles run for chukar. We will be providing two fifteen-minute, three-bird runs for one hunter and one dog per entry (sample score card: flusher | pointer).
Pricing: $75.00 per entry (BDC or UFTA sanctioning optional, $15.00)
